Texas Creates Strategic Bitcoin Reserve Committee, Seeks Custodian for BTC Purchases
Texas has created the Texas Strategic Bitcoin Reserve Advisory Committee and begun searching for a qualified firm to custody bitcoin for future purchases, adding operational structure to the state's reserve effort.
Texas also appointed a CleanSpark executive and a bitcoin-mining chief executive to the committee, bringing industry participants into the buildout as the state prepares to expand its BTC holdings.
