Hyperliquid Trader Closes $100 Million Ether Short at $260,000 Loss, Opens $13.4 Million Bitcoin Long

A trader on Hyperliquid closed a 23x leveraged Ether short worth more than $100 million at a roughly $260,000 loss, then reversed course and opened a 20x leveraged Bitcoin long on 175.04 BTC valued at about $13.43 million. The Ether position had been built on 47,604 ETH, or about $100.33 million.

Earlier tracking showed the short nearing its liquidation price of about $2,150, with possible losses approaching $1 million before the position was exited. The trade was first highlighted at $79.7 million with a liquidation price of $2,169.03 before later tracking put it above $100 million.
