BlackRock Sold $1.01 Billion of Bitcoin Last Week, Arkham Says
Blockchain analytics firm Arkham said BlackRock sold Bitcoin every day last week for a total of $1.01 billion, adding to signs of sustained selling pressure in the crypto market.
The reported sales came after U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds logged $1.26 billion of net outflows in their worst week since late January. Bitcoin also fell below $75,000 on May 23, touching $74,305, while redemptions from U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs reached $2.26 billion over the prior two weeks, the largest two-week withdrawal since January.
