Elicit Launches MCP Server for ChatGPT, Claude to Search 138 Million Papers
Elicit launched an MCP server that lets users access its research tools inside Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini and other MCP-compatible software. The integration allows agents to search more than 138 million papers and generate cited research reports by searching, screening and extracting evidence within an existing workflow.
The company framed the release as a way to reduce hallucinations when agents lack access to reliable evidence. Elicit said the tool can produce a shareable report that users can build on, and that it can be installed directly in ChatGPT.
