Analyst Raises Nvidia Target to $308, Sees Rubin Mass Production Delayed to September
GF Overseas Electronics & Communications raised its Nvidia target price to $308 from $292 and reiterated a buy rating ahead of the company’s May 20 earnings call, saying Rubin mass production will be delayed by about one month to September. The note said the redesigned product’s 2300W specification remains unchanged.
The firm forecast first-quarter revenue of $80.6 billion and second-quarter guidance of $91 billion, driven by normal GB300 NVL72 production, roughly 10% quarter-on-quarter growth in Blackwell shipments and a small RTX6000 contribution. It said Blackwell, Vera CPU and a faster LPX rack ramp should offset lower Rubin shipments, and that N3 wafer capacity may have shifted from Rubin to Vera CPU.
