Strategy Buys Bonds, Not Bitcoin, as Saylor Doesn't Rule Out Year-End Bitcoin Sales
Michael Saylor, executive chairman of Strategy, said the company bought bonds rather than Bitcoin this week, indicating it did not add to its Bitcoin holdings during the period.
Saylor also said he does not rule out Strategy selling some Bitcoin before year-end. In a May 21 interview on Natalie Brunell's show, he said the company takes a matter-of-fact approach to asset management and may flexibly allocate assets using equity and credit instruments, along with USD and cash reserves, to maximize bitcoin per share by 2033.
