Defense Component Maker Amca Raises $300 Million in Series B at $1 Billion-Plus Valuation
Amca, an El Segundo startup that designs and manufactures critical aerospace and defense components, raised a $300 million Series B that values the company at more than $1 billion. Caffeinated Capital led the round, with support from investors including a16z and Lux Capital.
Amca said it is trying to rebuild the supply chain for critical aerospace and defense components. The company has acquired six component shops nationwide.
