SpaceX IPO Could Value D1 Capital Stake at $20 Billion, FT Reports
A planned SpaceX initial public offering next month at an expected $1.75 trillion valuation would value hedge fund D1 Capital Partners' stake at about $20 billion, the Financial Times reported. The estimate highlights the scale of the holdings tied to a listing if Elon Musk's company proceeds at the level being discussed.
Speculation around the deal is also appearing in related trading. On-chain data showed a newly created wallet opening a 1x long position worth about $1.05 million in 5,200 SPCX, a SpaceX-linked instrument.
