SpaceX Plans $60 Billion Cursor Acquisition 30 Days After IPO
SpaceX expects to proceed with a $60 billion acquisition of artificial-intelligence coding startup Cursor 30 days after the company begins trading publicly, according to sources. A June 12 listing, if it occurs, would put the deal on track for July.
SpaceX would owe Cursor a $10 billion cash breakup fee if the deal fails. The acquisition is tied to an IPO process that could see a prospectus filed as soon as Wednesday, with SpaceX seeking to raise as much as $75 billion at a valuation above $2 trillion.
