Anthropic Resets Claude Code 5-Hour and Weekly Rate Limits After 50% Increase
Anthropic said Friday that it reset the 5-hour and weekly rate limits on Claude Code, the latest change to usage controls for the coding product. The reset follows a separate move announced earlier this week that raised weekly limits by 50%.
On May 13, the company said the temporary weekly-limit increase applied immediately to Pro, Max, Team and seat-based Enterprise users through July 13, and that it stacked with a previously announced doubling of 5-hour limits. Anthropic said those higher limits apply across Claude Code’s CLI, IDE extensions, desktop app and web interface.
