Israel's Katz Says Iran Mission Isn't Over, Warns Further Action Could Come Soon

politicswarworldisraeliran 226 posts · 70 accounts

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said Thursday that Israel's mission against Iran is not complete and that the country is prepared to act again, possibly soon, if its objectives are not secured. Katz said Israel must ensure that Iran does not pose a threat to Israel's existence.

The remarks follow earlier reports that Israel was concerned President Donald Trump could reach a deal with Tehran before major issues were addressed, potentially leaving parts of Iran's nuclear program intact while not covering ballistic missiles or regional proxies. Trump said Tuesday the U.S. was in no rush for an agreement and was "100%" certain Iran would stop enriching uranium, after earlier describing the U.S.-Iran ceasefire as on "massive life support."
