Anthropic Advances Funding Talks for $30 Billion Raise at $900 Billion Valuation
Anthropic has advanced talks to raise more than $30 billion at a valuation of more than $900 billion, progressing from the early-stage discussions reported previously. The AI startup is aiming to close the financing by the end of the month, though no term sheet has been signed.
If completed, the round would be Anthropic's largest yet and would more than double its $350 billion valuation from February. That level would also exceed OpenAI's $852 billion valuation from March, and Anthropic has been considering an IPO as soon as October.
