Kioxia Plans US Listing as Q4 Revenue Surges 189%
Kioxia said it plans to list shares in the US, though details of the planned ADS listing, including the exchange, have not been decided. The Japanese NAND flash memory maker said the move is intended to grow its investor base and increase corporate value as it benefits from a global memory chip shortage.
Fourth-quarter revenue surged 188.9% from a year earlier to ¥1.0 trillion ($6.3 billion) as NAND average selling prices more than doubled. Kioxia forecast current-quarter revenue of ¥1.75 trillion, up 74.5% from the fourth quarter, said full-year sales rose 37% to ¥2.34 trillion ($14.8 billion), and expects fiscal 2026 capital spending of ¥450 billion versus ¥283.7 billion in fiscal 2025.
