Digital Asset Eyes $300 Million Raise at $2 Billion Valuation Led by a16z Crypto
Digital Asset, the blockchain infrastructure firm behind Canton Network, is seeking about $300 million in new funding at a roughly $2 billion valuation, with a16z crypto expected to lead the round. Earlier reporting had said the company was raising capital at about that valuation, but the latest details add the proposed size of the financing and identify the expected lead investor.
Digital Asset is backed by DRW, Citadel Securities and several Wall Street banks. It previously raised $50 million in 2025 from investors including BNY Mellon and Nasdaq.
