Corporate Bitcoin Holdings Hit 1.15 Million BTC After Record Q1 Buying
Corporate Bitcoin holdings rose to 1.15 million BTC in the first quarter of 2026, up 4.6% from the prior quarter, after companies bought a record 50,351 Bitcoin during the period. The accumulation was led by buyers including Strategy, MARA, Metaplanet and other public companies.
Capriole Investments said institutional buyers are absorbing more than 500% of Bitcoin’s daily mined supply, a level that has historically preceded average gains of 24% over the following month.
