Crypto media outlet The Block appointed veteran media and tech executive Steve Chung as chief executive officer, succeeding Larry Cermak. Cermak will remain president overseeing research and product, while Chung previously held senior roles at Goldman Sachs, Fox and NFT project Azuki.

The company also secured an additional $10 million investment from Foresight Ventures, aimed at expanding its institutional research, data offerings and global presence.
