Russia Oil Exports Hold Up Despite Ukrainian Attacks
Russia’s oil exports continue to flow despite Ukrainian attacks on the country’s oil infrastructure, with the strikes having only a modest impact on the oil revenue that has supported Moscow’s finances.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said global oil prices could rise further if Ukraine continues to hit Russian oil facilities and additional Russian barrels are removed from the market. He said prices were already above $120 a barrel and that, even with lower export volumes, Russian companies would earn more money and the state would receive more revenue.
