Google Gemini Adds In-Chat File Generation and Export
Google has added in-chat file generation and export to Gemini, letting users create downloadable documents, spreadsheets, slides and PDFs directly from prompts without uploading a template. The feature supports Google Workspace files as well as Microsoft Word and Excel formats.
Gemini also supports exports to CSV, Markdown, LaTeX, TXT and RTF, broadening the tool beyond standard text responses. The capability is available globally across Gemini surfaces.
