India Cuts Export Duties on Diesel and Jet Fuel
India has cut export duties on diesel and aviation turbine fuel effective May 1, while keeping existing excise duty rates on petrol and diesel for domestic consumption unchanged, according to government notifications.
For the next fortnight beginning May 1, the duty on diesel exports was set at Rs. 23 per litre and the duty on aviation turbine fuel exports at Rs. 33 per litre. Petrol exports continue to face nil duty.
