Tap Announces USPE IPO for First NYSE-Listed Private Equity Fund-of-Funds

businessstocks 4 posts · 4 accounts

Tap said it is launching USPE through an IPO, describing the product as the first NYSE-listed private equity fund-of-funds. The exchange-traded structure is designed to let investors buy and sell private equity exposure much as they would trade stocks or ETFs.

The company said the offering, enabled by a change in regulatory policy, would remove lockups, accreditation requirements and investment minimums that have traditionally limited access to private equity. Tap also said Robinhood, Webull and Public are among the selling group members for the IPO.
