Stellantis Drops 7% Despite First-Quarter Earnings Beat
Stellantis returned to positive earnings in the first quarter and beat expectations, helped by rising demand in North America for its refreshed Jeep and Ram models. Adjusted operating income rose to €960 million, well above the €568 million consensus and topping $1 billion, while revenue increased 6% to €38.1 billion.
Even so, Stellantis shares fell 7% after the results. The quarter also included about €400 million of expected U.S. tariff refunds.
