US Crude Exports Hit Record Above 6 Million Barrels a Day
US crude oil exports exceeded 6 million barrels a day last week, setting a record high. Separately, EIA data showed US crude oil and petroleum products demand in February rose to its highest level since August 2025.
US oil demand averaged 21.138 million barrels a day in February, up 913,000 barrels a day, or 4.5%, from a year earlier, according to the EIA. That was the first time demand topped 21 million barrels a day since 2007.
