OPEC Fund Launches $1.5 Billion Support Package After Iran War
The OPEC Fund launched a $1.5 billion support package on Wednesday to help developing countries manage economic pressures tied to energy, commodity and trade disruption in the wake of the Iran war.
The Vienna-based fund said the money will be deployed through 2028 on a "demand-driven basis" to help governments cope with rising costs and secure supplies of key goods including energy, food and fertilizers.
