Ukraine Dismisses Two Commanders Amid Front-Line Supply Probe
Ukraine's General Staff said it dismissed the commanders of the 10th Army Corps and the 14th Mechanized Brigade after allegations that frontline troops in the Kupyansk direction were inadequately supported and that Ukrainian positions had been lost. The military said Colonel Taras Maksimov, commander of the 14th Brigade, concealed the true situation in the sector, including Russian advances and the loss of positions.
The move came after public allegations of shortages and malnourished soldiers at positions in Kharkiv Oblast. The General Staff said a Ground Forces commission is investigating food supplies for the 14th Brigade, while findings from a separate inquiry into brigade officials will be sent to law enforcement agencies.
