Hugging Face CEO Warns of Renewed Lobbying to Restrict Open Source

Hugging Face CEO Clément Delangue said he is hearing of renewed lobbying efforts in Washington and in state legislatures to ban or severely restrict open source. He argued that policymakers need to hear why open source matters for startups, competition, economic growth and jobs.

Delangue called on people who build with open source to speak up, and later urged them to share the message with their representatives.
