Judge Dismisses 99.7% of Transaction Volume Claims in Coinbase Underwood Case, Leaving 0.03% to Proceed
A federal judge dismissed claims covering 99.7% of the transaction volume in the Underwood case against Coinbase, narrowing the scope of the exchange's enforcement litigation.
Judge Paul Engelmeyer ruled in the Southern District of New York that claims related to matched transactions are dismissed, while the case will proceed regarding inventory transactions. Coinbase stated it will continue to defend the remaining 0.03% of the transaction volume.
