Infosys Cuts FY27 Revenue Growth Forecast to 3% as AI Revenue Hits 8.2%
Infosys cut its fiscal 2027 revenue growth guidance to 1.5 to 3%, with management stating that AI-related sales now represent 8.2% of total revenue, up from 5.5% earlier this year. The computer services provider noted that the artificial intelligence segment is not yet large enough to offset a slowdown in its traditional IT business.
The company cited weaker client spending and pricing pressure for the revised outlook, reflecting a broader shift where corporate buyers redirect budgets away from outsourced labor hours toward internally controlled AI systems. Analysts note the technology is currently stabilizing margins and productivity rather than driving the high single-digit growth needed to replace legacy time-and-materials contracts.
