Core Scientific more than doubled second-quarter revenue to $164.2 million, as its artificial intelligence and high-performance computing colocation business expanded to $136.7 million from $10.6 million a year earlier.
The results underscore the company’s accelerated pivot from digital asset mining toward infrastructure services. The miner also increased its Bitcoin treasury to 848 BTC in the quarter, up from 547 in the first quarter, after selling most prior holdings to finance the infrastructure expansion.
