CoinGecko Launches Claude Connector for Live Cryptocurrency Market Data
CoinGecko launched a connector for Claude, Anthropic’s artificial intelligence assistant, integrating live cryptocurrency market data directly into chat conversations. The integration utilizes the Model Context Protocol, enabling users to pull real-time price charts, asset comparisons, and market trends into the AI interface without navigating to external websites.
The connection allows traders and developers to monitor global market movements, top gainers, and losers by embedding a specific retrieval command within standard prompts. CoinGecko released the feature on July 30 and is currently collecting user feedback on prompt recommendations and additional feature requests.
