Justice Department Turns Over 10 Unredacted Epstein Files to Federal Judge
The Justice Department filed a notice of compliance turning over 10 unredacted Epstein-related documents to U.S. District Judge Emmet Sullivan, fulfilling a court order to review records sought in a lawsuit led by attorney Katie Phang.
The filing states that the redacted portions of the documents contain only personally identifiable information rather than details identifying victims or law enforcement personnel. Judge Sullivan will rule on whether the public can access the documents, while a woman claiming to be a victim has already moved to intervene to protect her identity.
