Fortitude Buys 9,000 Bitmain Z15 Pro Miners for Zcash Expansion
Fortitude has signed a definitive agreement to purchase 9,000 Antminer Z15 Pro mining units from Bitmain.
The order follows the energizing of a 12 MW facility in Grand Island, Nebraska, on July 28. The expansion brings the company’s total owned power portfolio above 60 MW and is expected to cut direct mining costs by more than 40 percent, from about $70 to $40 per coin, ahead of a planned public listing.
