Galaxy Digital Buys 500-Acre Texas Site for 74-MW AI Data Center Expected to Begin Power in 2028
Galaxy Digital acquired a 500-acre site in McGregor, Texas, to construct and operate a new artificial intelligence and high-performance computing data center campus, with an initial development phase of 74 MW.
The McGregor project marks the company’s second major data center investment in the state, following the planned 1.6 GW Helios facility in West Texas. The campus is scheduled to begin delivering power in 2028.
