Hormuz Oil Outflow Falls to 3 Million BPD, Down 80% From Late-June High
Outbound oil flows from the Strait of Hormuz have fallen below 3 million BPD for a 10-day average, marking an 80% decline from more than 15 million BPD recorded in late June.
Total shut-ins in the Gulf have rebounded to roughly 10 million BPD following a brief July surge, and the volume loss is projected to deepen unless a deal to restore shipping operations is reached.
