Lido has begun migrating more than 8 million ETH, valued at roughly $16.5 billion, into its Curated Module v2 architecture.
The staking protocol estimates the restructuring will reduce Ethereum’s total validator count by about one-third and cut attestation messages by roughly 29% per epoch. As part of the transition, all 34 curated node operators must post ETH bonds for the first time.
