Kering Beats Q2 Revenue Estimates on €3.65 Billion Sales as Gucci Decline Slides to 2%
Kering reported second-quarter revenue of €3.65 billion, topping analyst forecasts of €3.63 billion. The luxury conglomerate’s comparable sales expanded 2% from a year earlier.
Gucci generated €1.41 billion in the quarter, with comparable sales falling 2% against a 3.3% decline forecast. First-half recurring operating income reached €921 million, or a 12.8% margin, beating the €884.8 million estimate. The company stated that the ongoing crisis in the Middle East cut second-quarter group revenue growth by one percentage point.
