U.S. Sells $44 Billion in Seven-Year Notes at 4.473% Yield, A 21 Basis Point Rise
The Treasury sold $44 billion of seven-year notes at a high yield of 4.473%, a 21 basis point increase from the previous auction, with a 0.2 basis point tail.
The bid-to-cover ratio came in at 2.49, down from the prior sale's 2.50. Indirect bidders received 70.1% of the allocation, up from 57.6% previously, while direct bidders fell to 16.9% and primary dealers took a 13.0% share.
