Apple Overtakes Nvidia as World's Most Valuable Company, Tops $4.9 Trillion
Apple closed the day as the world's most valuable public company, overtaking Nvidia after Nvidia dropped more than 5%. Apple's market capitalization was above $4.9 trillion.
It was Apple's first close as the world's largest company since April 2025. Apple also ended the session almost $50 billion shy of a $5 trillion market capitalization.
