Cenovus Raises 2026 Output Guidance to Cross 1 Million Barrels of Oil and Gas Daily
Cenovus raises production guidance to exceed 1 million barrels of oil and gas equivalent per day this month. The milestone places the integrated Canadian energy producer into a group of fewer than 20 global firms at that scale, which includes Shell, ExxonMobil, and Saudi Aramco.
The company posted $17.4B in revenue and $2.87B in net earnings for the second quarter. Management also reduced net debt to $5.39B, returned $1.4B to shareholders, and lowered oil sands operating cost guidance for the remainder of the year.
