Boeing Beats Revenue and Free Cash Flow Forecasts in Q2 as Backlog Hits Record $715 Billion
Boeing reported second-quarter revenue of $24.6B and adjusted free cash flow of $631M, both beating estimates, while posting an adjusted loss of $0.76 per share. Operating cash flow reached $1.4B, up from $687.7M in estimates, driven primarily by 171 commercial airplane deliveries.
The commercial aircraft backlog extended to a record $715B, including more than 6,200 airplanes. President and Chief Executive Officer Kelly Ortberg said 737 production is transitioning to 47 aircraft per month and certification programs remain on plan. The company maintains full-year adjusted free cash flow guidance between $1B and $3B.
