Macronix raised its full-year 2026 capital spending forecast to NT$37.8 billion ($1.17 billion) from NT$22 billion, according to a media report, to help meet surging customer demand for specialty memory chips.
The updated guidance follows the company’s second-quarter earnings, which recorded net profit of NT$7.74 billion, a 706% increase from the same period last year.
