Anthropic has launched the Claude Security plugin for Claude Code in beta. The terminal-based utility allows developers to scan code changes for vulnerabilities before committing or run full scans across an entire codebase.

The plugin operates within the Claude Code environment and executes on the same inference system already used for software development workflows.
