Synthesia Launches AI Roleplay Training Sessions Showing 30% Skill Uplift at Early Corporate Customers
Synthesia launched Roleplay Sessions, a product that uses AI video avatars to run live practice conversations for corporate training and sales preparation. The platform lets employees work through scenarios with an AI that pushes back in real time and automatically measures performance gains across their organizations.
The company built the tool to address a reported corporate training gap, noting that nearly 44% of workers’ core skills are projected to face disruption by 2027 while 63% of employers say they cannot close that gap quickly enough. Built on Synthesia's main platform, which the company said is used by 90% of the Fortune 100, early corporate deployments showed a nearly 30% average skill lift at one recruiting firm and a 70% repeat practice rate among sales staff at a separate Fortune 10 company.
