Galaxy Digital Launches $5 Million Fund to Build Quantum-Resistant Bitcoin Tools
Galaxy Digital has launched a $5 million fund to develop post-quantum cryptographic tools designed to make Bitcoin resistant to future quantum computing threats.
The initiative, called the Bitcoin Quantum Readiness Initiative, will provide developer grants to create wallet migration tools and conduct security audits for signature schemes. The program also includes research into quantum risks and will be guided by an advisory council of experts in quantum computing and cryptography.
