OpenAI Launches Voice Command for ChatGPT Desktop App on macOS and Windows to Manage AI Agents
OpenAI introduced voice command capabilities in its ChatGPT desktop application for macOS and Windows, enabling subscribers to control their computers and direct AI agents in ChatGPT Work and Codex. Powered by the company’s GPT-Live architecture, the software can speak, listen, and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously without keyboard input.
The update rolls out globally today on five subscription tiers: Plus, Pro, Business, Edu, and Enterprise. An iOS version with paired remote capabilities is also available, with Android support scheduled for a later release.
