Oil Flow Through Strait of Hormuz Drops to 4 Million BPD on 10-Day Average
Confirmed oil flow through the Strait of Hormuz has dropped to roughly 4 million barrels a day on a trailing 10-day average, marking the lowest shipping volume since late May.
Weekly volume through the chokepoint has contracted by 13.4 million barrels per day from a pre-war baseline of roughly 20 million barrels daily, leaving market participants with no immediate ability to backfill the shortfall.
