OpenAI Launches ChatGPT Voice on Mac and Windows Desktop Apps
OpenAI launched ChatGPT Voice on its macOS and Windows desktop applications, using the GPT-Live model to enable voice commands for computer control and agent coordination.
The global rollout was completed on both platforms following a brief delay caused by a misconfigured feature flag. Voice access also extends to the iOS app, allowing users to manage active threads and coordinate background tasks in ChatGPT Work and Codex.
