US Launches Missile Strike on Larak Island Near Strait of Hormuz, Iranian Media Says
Iran's Tasnim news agency reported that the US launched a missile strike on Larak Island in the Persian Gulf near the Strait of Hormuz on Wednesday, and residents reported a loud explosion near the island.
Tasnim said authorities were assessing the extent of the attack, the exact impact site and any damage. It said no official details had been released on the type of projectile used, its origin or the extent of any damage.
