A consortium that includes MGX, the Artificial Intelligence Infrastructure Partnership and BlackRock Global Infrastructure Partners has completed its acquisition of data-center operator Aligned Data Centers for approximately $40 billion. The deal will be supplemented by a $5 billion investment to fund the company’s expansion.
