Intersnack Buys Utz Brands for $14.25 a Share in $2.9 Billion Deal
Intersnack has agreed to acquire Utz Brands for $14.25 per share in cash, valuing the snack maker at approximately $2.9 billion.
Following the transaction, Intersnack and the Rice-Lissette family will each hold a 50% stake as the company is taken private and delisted from the New York Stock Exchange. The deal carries a 91% premium and is expected to close in Q4 2026, with Utz shares rising roughly 90% in premarket trading.
