OpenAI Patches ChatGPT and Codex Service Outages as Error Rates Return to Normal
OpenAI applied a mitigation to resolve elevated error rates disrupting ChatGPT, Codex and select services, with the company confirming the technical fix is taking effect.
The outage triggered widespread disruption earlier Thursday, following reports of 503 error responses across client applications and APIs. Company teams stated services are recovering and monitoring will continue through the morning of July 25.
